OUR STORY
Welcome to Isla Verde Gallery! 🌴🌊
I’m Sarah, and together with my mom, Iris, we run this eclectic shop. As a woman-owned and Hispanic-owned small business, we take pride in designing everything ourselves. Our goal is to offer a diverse set of styles that cater to people of all backgrounds and ages.
My family and I are from Puerto Rico, and I had the privilege of growing up in the touristic center of Isla Verde. Just a 5-minute walk from the beach, it was a place where I spent endless hours riding my bike with childhood friends, exploring the neighborhood park, and attending summer camp just a couple of blocks from my house.
When it came time to choose a name for our shop, we wanted it to reflect who we are and the cherished memories we hold dear. Isla Verde was the perfect choice—a town that symbolizes joy, community, and a deep connection to our roots.
Mom, Iris, brings her love for super bright colors, abstract art, minimalistic styles, florals, and geometric patterns into our creations.
Meanwhile, I, Sarah, find inspiration in eclectic and odd patterns, themes from video games and horror movies, pastel colors, cute/kawaii vibes, and nostalgic imagery from the 90s/00s/y2k era. I also have a special love for nostalgic imagery such as frutiger aero or anything from the 90s, 00s and Y2K style. I love the weird and unusual!
What sets us apart is our commitment to originality. Every piece you see here is uniquely ours. You won’t find duplicates of our items or designs anywhere else. This is all us—handcrafted with passion and creativity.
Thank you for visiting Isla Verde Gallery. We hope you find something special that speaks to you! ⭐
